چکیده
Aim: The purpose of our study was to examine the relation between upper extremity function and trunk control, balance functional mobility in Individuals with Stroke.
Material Method: This included a total 39 stroke patients (age 63.87± 9.03 years, post 19.18±16.38 month). Upper functions were evaluated sub-scale STREAM Scale, level, control Trunk Impairment Scale (TIS), Berg Balance (BBS), Timed Up Go Test (TUG).
Result: A moderate detected (p˂0.05). When performances individuals compared according levels, it seen that those worse level had poor (p˂0.05).
Conclusion: As result study, postural balance. For this reason, is important focus on extremities improve physiotherapy rehabilitation practices.

Objectives: Motor weakness is a notable symptom after stroke. Hence, the aim of this study was to find out the effect of bilateral quadriceps training compared to that of unilateral quadriceps training on balance, functional mobility and functional gait in patients with stroke. Subjects: Male and female hemiparetic patients between 40-60 years of age with post-stroke of 1-6 months were included...
متن کاملDose-response relation between neuromuscular electrical stimulation and upper-extremity function in patients with stroke.
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE The purpose of our study was to investigate the effects of different doses of neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) on upper-extremity function in acute stroke patients with severe motor deficit. METHODS Sixty-six acute stroke patients were randomized to 3 groups: high NMES, low NMES, or control. The low-NMES group received 30 minutes of stimulation per day, and t...
متن کاملImpact of Extension Splint on Upper Extremity Motor Components and Function in Chronic Stroke Patients
Objectives: Spasticity and contracture in flexor muscles of the wrist may occur after stroke, especially in which early recovery did not appear. Splints are prescribed to reduce spasticity and to prevent contracture after stroke. Although there is a few research in this field. The aim of this study was to examine the impact of the Extension splint on function, spasticity, and range of motion of...
